Deposits

Deposits are protected under the government backed scheme deposit registration scheme MyDeposits, this is a legal requirement.

Deposits have to be protected in an approved scheme within 30 days of receipt and moving in.  If this does not occur, then 3 times the amount can be claimed back and if, in any eventuality, you have to issue a Section 21, this will make it invalid
